Frequency drives and inverters are non-lineare loads. They generate harmonics which increase the losses and the disturbances in the electrical network.
We propose passive, active and intelligent filters in order to tackle the network pollution at the source. Thanks to these systems, our customers can eliminate the effects of harmonics and save on the costs resulting from dysfunction and damage to their equipment.
ACTIVE DYNAMIC HARMONIC FILTERS
Modular design for flexible and simple evolution with the loads. An excellent interface, a straightforward concept, reduced losses and high reliability distinguish these filters. COMSYS-ADF is offered in different executions for harmonics filtering or flicker compensatione:
- the most compact active harmonic filter P25
- compact active harmonic filter : P100 without neutral current compensation and P100N with neutral current compensation
- industrial modular extensible active harmonic filter : P300
- the fastest filter, up to 5 kHz: P200
- also availible in voltage controlled sensorless design (no current transformers needed)
PASSIVE FILTERS, NOW ALSO WITH INTELLIGENT VOLTAGE CONTROL
SOFIA passive filters for filtering harmonics and for power factor / cosφ compensation, also available of dynamic type for fast changing loads. Now extremely low own losses, active voltage based control (and no need for current transformers anymore), modular and extensible.
DYNAMIC REACTIVE COMPENSATION
The THYRA dynamic compensation for fast or very fast changing loads such as cranes, lifts, spot and seam welding machines, piston compressors, extruder machines etc. They offer adequate response where other traditional solutions fail.
HV-FILTERING for INDOOR or OUTDOOR ERECTION
We offer an extensive range of fixed and automatic capacitor banks, harmonic filters and motor start compensators, available for indoor and outdoor erection and in enclosed or open rack execution. Discover the MIKA range here.
Specific filters for electrical distribution networks where high frequency disturbances (such as switching frequencies caused by electronic drives, UPS equipment etc.) are to be suppressed. RESI is especially suitable in LV- and MV-networks where cable resonances occur!
We also offer series filters for specific loads and parallel network filters for entire distribution systems.
BLOCKING FILTERS FOR REMOTE CONTROL FREQUENCY SIGNALS
Distributed power plants (cogeneration), capacitor banks, major lighting installations with discharge lamps (such as greenhouses, tanning bed centers, lighting of big halls) require specific blocking filters for the protection of the remote control signal of the grid operator. On the other hand, sound and lighting installations can be disturbed by such a remote control signal and for such cases we can offer specific blocking and filtering combinations of type SP1 / SP3 in 1-phase and 3-phase execution, which protect such loads against interferences from the grid side.
